3 new features added on Instagram, now you can stay live for 4 hours instead of 1 hour

Instagram has introduced three new features to attract more users towards live streams. The social media platform has increased its Live Video limit, where earlier you could go live only for 1 hour, now you can go live for 4 hours. Apart from this, a new Live Archive option has been added, which saves all your live videos for up to 30 days. The archive is only accessible by you, and you can also download live videos and upload them to IGTV.

Announcement of new features Twitter The biggest feature of which is the increase in the limit of Live Video. Earlier, only one hour live session could be done through Instagram, but now it has been increased to four hours. This means that users who used to like to cook food or take live classes while being live on Insta, will no longer need to restart the live after an hour. Apart from this, Instagram has also introduced Live Archives feature, where all your live videos will be saved. Till now Instagram only archived your Instagram stories and posts, but now your live session will be saved here.

The Live Archive option will be located exactly where your Stories and posts were archived. However, these live sessions will be archived for only 30 days. To find this new option, you need to click on the burger menu located at the top right corner of your profile. Here you have to tap on the Archive option and select ‘Live Archive’. You can also download the live video found in the archive and if you want, you can also re-upload it to your IGTV video.

Apart from this, you will get a new “Live Now” section in the IGTV app in Instagram.
