Facebook launches BARS App for rappers, will give experience like TikTok

Facebook’s new BARS app is another attempt by the social media giant to compensate for the lack of TikTok app. However, this time this app has been specially designed for rappers. Yes, this new app has been developed by Facebook’s New Product Experimentation (NPE) R&D team, which is currently available under closed beta testing. Facebook’s BARS app lets app users create and share raps through tools. The NPE team says that users do not need to have any formal rap experience to create rap on the BARS app.

Facebook’s BARS app is specifically designed to create content in a wrapping style, unlike traditional short-video sharing apps. It comes with pre-recorded beats to turn your words into professional-style rap. Additionally, to keep the app flow flowing, it can come with rhyming suggestions using the rhyming dictionary. Plus, there’s a Challenge Mode that lets you freestyle with auto-suggested words clues.

The Facebook BARS app offers a variety of audio and visual filters to enhance your rap content once your lyrics and flow are complete. It includes preloaded tools to alter your vocal output in your videos, such as Clean, AutoTune, Imaginary Friends, and AM Radio. The BARS app allows you to export your rap videos and save them to your Camera Roll after refining them. You can also share your content on other social media platforms.

The BARS app is available for download on Apple’s US App Store and is available to a limited number of iOS users. Let us tell you, in the month of May last year, Facebook’s NPE team had introduced an app named Collab, which became available for public access for iOS in December. The Collab app was designed as TikTok.
