The head of this party is Jagmeet Singh who is a big supporter of the Khalistan movement. For Trudeau, staying in power means keeping Jagmeet happy. In terms of majority figures, the support of Jagmeet’s party is very important for him. After the elections, Singh and Trudeau signed the Confidence and Supply Agreement. However, in recent developments with the expiration of the agreement, Canada has returned to traditional minority parliamentary politics.
