WhatsApp has released its official Twitter The handle informed that now users can ‘mute’ a particular chat forever. This ‘Always Mute’ feature of the company has been replaced with the previously available ‘one year’ option. Yes, earlier you were given the option of 8 hours, 1 week and 1 year to mute a chat. But with the new feature, Always Mute option has been added by removing the existing 1 year option. After this change, users will be able to permanently mute that group or any one person whose messages always troubled them.
It is worth noting that earlier this feature was seen in the latest beta.
