Apple Getting Massive Response for iPhones in India, Revenue Of Company Increases 36 Percent to More than Rs 67,122 Crore, Will Open 4 New Stores

In the last few years, sales of American devices maker Apple’s iPhones have increased rapidly in the country. This is indicated by the increase in the company’s revenue in the last financial year. Apple’s revenue in the country has increased by almost 36 percent in the last financial year to more than Rs 67,121 crore. iPhones have a major share in the company’s sales.

According to a media report, Apple’s quarterly sales in the country have been increasing on a year-on-year basis since the last calendar year. In the last financial year, the company’s revenue was approximately Rs 49,321 crore, an increase of more than 47 percent. The company’s iPhone sales in the country in the current financial year are estimated to be around $11 billion. Apart from this, Apple can get revenue of four-six billion dollars from Mac, iPad, smartwatches and services.

Recently, the company’s CEO, Tim Cook had emphasized the growing importance of India. The company’s sales in the quarter ending September were better than expected. Apple’s sales in the last quarter were approximately $94.9 billion. This is an increase of 6.1 percent compared to the same quarter last year.

Cook had said that Apple has made a record of revenue in India in the September quarter. He said that the company is preparing to open four new stores in the country. Apple’s recently launched iPhone 16 series is getting good response from customers. The company had said that the sales of iPads have also increased. Sales of these Apple tablets have increased in double-digits. Usually, the demand for smartphones and other tech devices picks up with the beginning of the festive season in September. Apple’s stores opened last year in Select Citywalk in Saket, Delhi and Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai are performing well. The company is preparing to open new stores in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Pune. The revenue of Apple’s stores in the country in the first year was approximately Rs 800 crore. In this, the share of Delhi’s Saket store is 60 percent. In the last few years, the company has also taken steps to shift some part of its manufacturing to China.
