A Delhi court has convicted former BJP MLA Neel Daman Khatri and his aide on charges of rioting and attacking government employees. He was accused of leading a mob of 250 people who pelted stones at a team that had come to remove encroachment in Narela area of Delhi on November 14, 2014.

Allu Arjun gets bail in stampede case, will have to pay two bail bonds of Rs 50 thousand each
Actor Allu Arjun has got bail in the case of woman’s death in stampede during the screening of Pushpa-2. On Friday, Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge granted regular bail to Allu. The court had reserved the decision after hearing the arguments of Allu Arjun and the police.
Allu Arjun’s lawyer Ashok Reddy said that Allu has been granted bail on a bond of Rs 50,000. Also, he has been directed to appear before the investigating officer on Sunday. Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 in connection with the incident and on December 14, the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail for four weeks. Its period ends on January 10. District President of BJP Yuva Morcha in Jammu, Kanav Sharma, was shot outside his house on Friday. He has been admitted to the hospital. Kanav’s father advocate Chandramohan told that Kanav was parking the car near his house in New Plot area. Then some people objected and argued.

The Supreme Court has given notice to Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, who was acquitted after the High Court’s decision in the murder case of Dera Sacha Sauda manager Ranjit Singh.
In May 2024, the Punjab and Haryana High Court acquitted Ram Rahim in the murder case. CBI had challenged this in the Supreme Court.

Daughter killed mother in Mumbai, was angry at taking sister’s side
In Mumbai, a daughter called her mother home and murdered her. The incident took place in Qureshi Nagar area of Kurla late on Thursday night. The police has arrested the 41 year old accused daughter. She has been identified as Reshma Kazi. According to the police, Reshma felt that her mother favored her elder sister, due to which there was long-standing resentment between the two.
