The temple trust has property of 7,600 acres in 75 places in the country. Apart from this, the Trust has 6000 acres of forest land. According to a statement issued by the temple trust, the main source of income of the temple is the money, jewellery, diamonds and pearls donated by the devotees. This temple was built in the 10th century, which is spread over 16 acres.

Rs 15000 crore deposited in banks

According to a report, the amount deposited in banks of Tirupati Temple Trust is more than Rs 15000 crore. In the year 2022, the Trust had released a white paper disclosing the property deposited with the temple. According to another media report, offerings worth more than Rs 2 crore come to the Tirupati temple every day. At the same time, during festival days it reaches 3-4 crores.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) also earns income from offerings and renting out other properties. This temple earns Rs 500 crore annually by selling laddus. There is a tradition of hair removal in Tirupati Balaji temple. The temple trust also sells the removed hair. In the year 2018, 1,87,000 kg of hair was sold and Rs 1.35 crore was earned from it.
