3. Wi-Fi will be available in Air India’s domestic flights: The first airline in the country to provide internet service in flight, now you can access it for free.

Wi-Fi facility will now be available in some domestic flights of Air India. At present this service will be available only in Airbus A350, Boeing 787-9 and some A321neo aircraft. Air India has become the first airline in the country to provide Wi-Fi internet service in domestic flights.

Wi-Fi is free for an introductory period and will gradually be introduced on other aircraft in the fleet over time. 4. Tamil Nadu government canceled the tender of Adani Energy: Accused of charging expensive charges, electric meter was to be installed under the scheme of the central government.

Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation has canceled the tender issued for purchasing smart meters from Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL). Tamil Nadu government has accused Adani’s company of charging expensive charges.

This tender was canceled on 27 December. Under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme of the Central Government, tender in four packages was issued in August 2023 for installation of smart meters. The state government has canceled all four.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has started bookings for the Acti-e and QC1 today (January 1). The company had introduced both EVs in India in November-2024. This is the company’s first electric two-wheeler.
