Last year, the Delhi government launched an app called Delhi Corona, which is available for download on both Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store) platforms. This year also you can use it to check the availability of beds in hospitals. The app is designed to make it easier to search for COVID-19 related features. This app can be used to get information about the health facilities provided by both government and private hospitals in the capital city and the vacant beds available in them. Along with the total beds, it also gives information about the number of beds being used and vacant in the hospital as well as the number of ventilators. Delhi Corona app also supports both Hindi and English languages.
The good thing is that the user does not require any kind of registration to get information from the Delhi Corona app.
How to get information about vacant beds through Delhi Corona app
As soon as you open the app, you will see a section of ‘COVID-19 Beds’ on the home page (see main image above). Here you will see the total beds available in hospitals, occupied beds and total number of available beds. You can also get information about beds available according to hospitals by tapping anywhere on this section. As soon as you tap, all the hospitals will open in front of you and the contact and location link will also be included in the tab of each hospital.
Just below the COVID-19 Beds section, there is also a section for COVID-19 ICU Beds. In this section you will get information about total ICU beds available in hospitals, authorized ICU beds and available ICU beds. By tapping on this section the list will open according to hospitals.
