London: London was chosen the best city for the 10th consecutive year in the annual ranking of the world’s best cities. Britain’s capital London retained the top spot, leaving behind New York, Paris and Tokyo. The ranking, compiled by Resonance, a global advisor in real estate, tourism and economic development, assesses cities with a population of more than 1 million.
According to the report of news agency Xinhua, London has always dominated the ranking. Even though the evaluation criteria keep changing every year. The ranking reflects London’s global appeal. It is a city which has been a symbol of cultural heritage and strong business infrastructure. In this year’s ranking, public perception was included. For the first time, the opinions of more than 22,000 people from 30 countries were included and perception-based data was added to the analysis. Why did London become the largest city in the world?
