There is good news for the Indian economy amid economic slowdown across the world. India tops the projected GDP growth rate of G20 countries in the year 2024. India’s estimated growth rate is 7 percent, which is higher than countries like China, Russia and America.
Which country is at which number?
In the projected GDP growth rate of G20 countries for 2024, India stands first with 7 percent. Whereas Indonesia is at second place in this list with 5 percent. Talking about China, it is at third place in this list with 4.8 percent. Russia is at fourth place with 3.6 percent and Brazil is at fifth place with 3 percent. The estimated growth rate of Africa and Turkey for 2024 is also 3 percent. These two countries are at number 6 and 7 in this list.
America is at number 8 in this list with 2.8 percent. Korea is at number 9 whose estimated GDP growth rate is 2.5 percent. Mexico is at number 10. Its estimated GDP growth rate is 1.5 percent. Saudi Arabia is at number 11 in this list and its estimated GDP growth rate is also 1.5 percent.
Canada is at number 12 with 1.3 percent and Australia is at number 13 with 1.2 percent. The estimated GDP growth rate of France, European Union, UK and South Africa is 1.1 percent. These are at number 14, 15, 16 and 17.
This country’s GDP growth rate is in minus
There are some countries in this list whose estimated GDP growth rate for 2024 is less than 1 percent. There is one country whose estimated GDP growth rate is in minus. If we talk about countries with a projected growth rate of less than one percent, they include Italy, Japan and Germany. Whereas, Argentina’s estimated growth rate for 2024 is minus 3.5 percent.
Today is the last day of the summit
The 19th G20 summit has started in Brazil from 18 November. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Brazil’s capital Rio de Janeiro on Sunday i.e. 17th November to participate in it. Today i.e. 19th November is the last day of the 19th G20 Summit.
