Earlier, a researcher had claimed in his report that a link is circulating on the dark web, in which user data of payment app MobiKwik of approximately 8.2 terabyte (8,200GB) size has been leaked. Gadgets 360 first learned about this data breach in February. The data which was in the possession of some hackers groups till some time ago, is now available on search engines. The leaked data includes KYC information of users including their address, phone number, Aadhaar card information etc. In this, data of 3.5 million i.e. about 35 lakh users is being reported.
