New features are being added to WhatsApp, there will be many changes in wallpaper too

WhatsApp has received a new update that will bring some improvements to the wallpapers, including the ability to set custom wallpapers for different chats and an updated stock wallpaper gallery. The instant messaging app is also bringing new colors to the existing doodle wallpapers. Apart from the changes made regarding the wallpaper, an option is also being brought to search for stickers using WhatsApp text and emoji. WhatsApp is also rolling out an animated World Health Organization (WHO) “Together at Home” sticker pack to upgrade the existing WHO sticker pack, which encourages users to stay home during the coronavirus pandemic.

One of the big changes coming to WhatsApp is the custom chat wallpaper feature. This gives you the option to use a custom wallpaper for your favorite chats and favorite contacts, making that contact’s chat box look different from your regular WhatsApp wallpaper. This will help reduce instances of sending messages to the wrong chat window.

A WhatsApp beta custom chat wallpaper feature was introduced for Android in September. It was initially introduced for internal testing. At that time it was not even available to beta testers. However, this feature is now coming to the general public.

Apart from custom chat wallpapers, WhatsApp is bringing doodle wallpapers in new color options. New wallpapers have also been introduced, called “diverse” and include images of nature and architecture from around the world, along with some new designs.
