Opportunity for a high position job in Zomato, but one condition of the company owner will have to be accepted.

New DelhiZomato CEO Deepinder Goyal has recently announced a special opportunity for the role of “Chief of Staff”. However, the initial years of this job will be completely different from traditional jobs. For this role, the candidate will not get any salary for the first year, but will have to pay ₹20 lakh. This amount will be donated to the non-profit organization “Feeding India”.

While mentioning this job on his social media account, Deepinder Goyal said that he is looking for a candidate who is “down to earth”, has “zero entitlements” and has a tremendous learning mindset. The main objective of this job is to provide the candidate with a broad experience and rapid learning opportunity. Goyal clarified that this job is different from traditional jobs. The candidate will have to work on shaping the future of Zomato and its other brands like Blinkit, Hyperpure, District, and Feeding India. This role is for those who want to improve themselves and not their resume.

Why no salary for the first year?
In response to this question, Goyal said that whoever is selected for this role should take it as an opportunity to learn. An amount of ₹20 lakh will be donated directly to “Feeding India”. Along with this, Zomato will donate an amount of ₹50 lakh to another charity. From the second year onwards, the candidate will be given an annual salary of more than ₹ 50 lakh.

Goyal termed it a “fast track learning program” and said that this opportunity is for those who are hungry to learn. This move by Zomato is completely different from the traditional job processes and is being discussed a lot.
