Survey started, land acquisition will happen soon, work of establishing a new city in NCR is going on at a fast pace

New Delhi. Efforts to establish another city in NCR have intensified. The survey for land acquisition for this city named ‘New Noida’ has also started. Noida Authority CEO Lokesh M conducted a preliminary survey with officials in Secunderabad area of ​​Bulandshahr. During this time, land for a temporary office in Jokhabad village was also inspected. This office will monitor land acquisition and development works. The CEO said that the land acquisition process will start soon. For this, consent will be taken by meeting local land owners, villagers and village heads.

New Noida will be developed under the Dedicated Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR). This new area will include the land of about 20 villages of Gautam Buddha Nagar and 60 villages of Bulandshahr, making its size equal to Noida city. The New Noida project will be developed in a phased manner. The first phase will be completed by 2027 on 3,165 hectares of land. After this, 3,798 hectares of land will be developed between 2027 and 2032, 5,908 hectares by 2037, and 8,230 hectares by 2041.

The master plan was approved in October
In October, the state government had approved the master plan 2041 of the project. Under the master plan, 40% of the acquired land will be for industrial development, 13% for residential projects, 18% for green and recreational areas, 4% for commercial use, 8% for public institutions and the remainder has been reserved for other projects.

Will become a major investment destination
DNGIR region has been identified as a key investment area in the first phase of Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). The region is connected to other parts of the state and the country by road and rail. Noida, Greater Noida, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Area and Noida International Airport are located around it.

Officials say that these areas have advanced road networks, modern infrastructure and better residential, commercial and recreational facilities, which make the region ideal for investment. New Noida will also be connected to the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC), an important transport link for the DMIC.
