Tech company got order from ONGC, the deal is worth Rs 98 crore, what work did you get?

New Delhi. Technology solutions provider Corporate Infotech Private Limited (CIPL) on Tuesday said it has received a seven-year contract from public sector company Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for the overhaul of IT infrastructure.

CIPL said in a statement. “CIPL has been awarded a contract worth Rs 98 crore by ONGC for on-premise IT Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) on ‘pay-per-use’ model. This contract will be completed over a period of seven years till September 2031.”

The project aims to enhance the IT hardware infrastructure at ONGC’s Delhi-based Corporate Infocomm Data Center (CIDC) and disaster recovery site in Vadodara, Gujarat, the Noida-based company said, as part of ONGC’s digital transformation journey. As such, the project will help future-proof the state-owned company’s operations, including seamless data replication, disaster recovery and application Management services included. Vinod Kumar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, CIPL, said, “This partnership underlines CIPL’s expertise in handling complex IT infrastructure and its ability to provide flexible, consumption-based solutions.”
