It’s been four years since Telegram introduced voice call support on its app, and now it has finally introduced the video calling feature for its beta users, reports Android Police. The stable version rollout may take a few days or weeks. As we told, for testing this feature you will have to be a part of Telegram Beta Program. After the authentication process is complete, you can get the video calling facility on the app, however, you will be able to make video calls only to those Telegram users who have installed the 0.7 beta app on their devices.
According to the report, the Telegram video call interface is similar to other platforms. It has an on-screen button for front and back cameras, apart from this, turn on and off video button, mute and hang-up button will also be available in it. Video call participants can convert a small window to a large window with just one tap. Initial feedback has revealed that the app has some technical issues and needs a lot of improvement.
At present, there is no option given in the app regarding group video call, but reportedly work is going on on this feature also.
