VLF Tennis 1500W Electric Scooter Price in India 1.29 Lakh Launched 130 KM Range Rivals Ola S1 Pro Bajaj Chetak TVS iQube Specifications

VLF Tennis 1500W electric scooter has been launched in India. According to its price, the e-scooter of the Italian brand will compete with models like Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450, Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube in the country. It has a claimed top-speed of 65 kmph and the company says that the scooter can have a range of 130 km on a full charge. The e-scooter gets 12-inch wheels and has LED lights at both ends. It has a 5-inch digital TFT display.

VLF Tennis 1500W electric scooter has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price, the e-scooter will compete with electric scooter models like Bajaj Chetak Electric, Ola S1 Pro, TVS iQube, Ather 450, which currently hold the largest electric two-wheeler market share in India. The Tennis 1500W e-scooter is available in three color options – Snowflake White, Fire Fury Dark Red and Slate Grey.

For operations in India, VLF has acquired KAW Veloce Motors Pvt. Ltd. Has joined hands with and entered the market earlier this year.

Talking about the features, the Tennis 1500W electric scooter has a 1500W capacity motor, with which a 2.5 kWh battery pack has been paired. The powertrain together can produce a maximum torque of 157 Nm. Its top speed is 65 km per hour. VLF Tennis 1500W can run up to 130 km on a single charge. VLF has said that it takes three hours to fully charge.

However, there is also a 4000W variant available in the international markets, which produces a maximum torque of 232 Nm and is capable of reaching a top-speed of 100 kmph. It has a 2.8 kWh battery pack, which gives a range of 100 km when driven at a speed of 40 km per hour. Each battery takes five to six hours to fully charge.

The Tennis 1500W is built on a steel frame. It weighs 88 kg with the battery pack, while the global variant (4000W) weighs 10 kg more. The 1500W has disc brakes at both ends, telescopic hydraulic forks at the front and hydraulic mono shock absorbers at the rear. It features a 5-inch digital TFT display and offers the rider three driving modes – Eco, Comfort and Sport. It has 12 inch wheels and LED lights at both ends.
