The new WhatsApp 2.20.200.11 beta update has been released for Android users through the Google Play beta program. WhatsApp tracker WABetaInfo has dug into the code of this update and found a glimpse of the upcoming wallpaper feature.
According to WABetaInfo, when users go to Wallpaper settings to set a new wallpaper in the chat, WhatsApp will provide them two options. In which users will be asked whether they want to use the selected wallpaper for one chat or for all chats. If users set the wallpaper for only one chat, only the wallpaper of the selected chat will change. In the rest of the chats you will see only old wallpapers. Whereas after choosing the option ‘for all chats’ a wallpaper chosen will be set in all chats. Simply won’t change the wallpaper of chats that already have a custom wallpaper set.
The tracker says that this new wallpaper feature is currently in the works, which will be received with a future update. This means that even if you are on the latest beta, you cannot take advantage of this new feature yet. Apart from this, other changes that WhatsApp is working on also include the ability to change the quality of the wallpaper.
It is worth noting that recently WhatsApp has added a new animated sticker pack to the default sticker list, named Usagyuuun. This sticker pack features white cartoon characters who express different emotions through stickers, like happiness, sadness, love, etc. Let us tell you, this animated sticker pack has been created by Quan Inc and now it has been made live for all the new betas in Android.
