WhatsApp’s alternative Signal is down globally, users are facing problems

Signal is being seen as an alternative to WhatsApp, but Signal is down globally. Many users have complained about this platform being down. You can open the app and send messages now, but nothing seems to be delivered right now. The issue started around 8.30pm IST on Friday and quickly turned into a global outage.

If you open Signal now, you will see a new banner stating that the app is experiencing some technical issues. However, no other information has been given on this banner. However, it has been said that the company is working on restoring the service as soon as possible.

However, no update has been made yet regarding what this problem is. However, those who were looking at Signal as an alternative after WhatsApp’s privacy update policy will definitely be disappointed. Actually, WhatsApp has asked users to accept its policy by February 8. If users do not accept this policy then their account will be deleted. In this policy, it is being said that WhatsApp’s data will be shared with Facebook and its affiliates.

This increase in downloads is 62% more than last week. Actually, WhatsApp co-founder Brian Acton has also created Signal.
