Online food delivery app Zomato has hired a big person. Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal himself has given information about this on his blog. He has written that he needs a Chief of Staff for himself. However, there is a condition in this offer. The condition is that the candidate desirous of a job will first have to pay Rs 20 lakh to the company and will have to work for one year without salary i.e. for free.
what is the whole matter
On November 20, around 6 pm, Zomato CEO and founder Deepinder Goyal posted a post on his X account that he needed a Chief of Staff. For this, two cards were also posted, in which all the information related to this job is written. It is written in it that any candidate who does this job will not get any salary for the first one year. Even he himself will have to pay Rs 20 lakh to the company, which will be donated to the NGO Feeding India. However, from the second year onwards the candidate will be given an annual salary of more than Rs 50 lakh.
It is further written in the post that we want a person who does not have much experience, but has common sense, is down to earth, has zero entitlement and has grade A communication skills. The most important thing is that he should have a learning mindset.
will get a chance to learn
Deepinder Goyal has further written in this card that this job will be different from ordinary jobs. In this, the candidate will have to work to improve the future of Zomato and its other brands like Blinkit, Hyperpure, District and Feeding India. He further wrote that this role is for those who want to improve themselves and not their resume. If you want to get this job, then you will have to write a cover letter of 200 words and send it to d@zomato.com.
Deepinder Goyal is being trolled
Now many people are trolling Zomato and Deepinder Goyal on this post. A user named Gabbar wrote, ‘Bad idea. Salary should be given. After 3 months if you feel that the candidate is not right then he will lose a lot of his money and will get nothing except bitter experience from here. Another user Indra wrote, ‘Dippy Bhai, hire me as your PR manager, so that I can stop you from tweeting like this in future.’ A user named The Skin Doctor wrote, ‘After reading this, even Narayan Murthy has started seeming like a saint to me.’
